Life is a journey

GODFREY VAGASI hails from Moli parish and the 1st of the 2 children of Lupomusi Agata. As a child,he grew up and was taken in care by his grandparents till he attended Choiseul Provincial Secondary School.

However,for Godfrey, life seems difficult for him,especially as he had  to depend much on his grandparent, who were too old to finance him at school. Enough is possible said Godfrey,and with the help of his uncles and relatives he managed to complete his Form 5 Secondary.

Godfrey dreamed to become a priest, however during those days he cannot find any gate way to enter, otherwise he involved in youth ministry at home.He said life is really disturbing him.He have friends and cousins who involved in consuming Home made brews,this made him wants to involve,but he thanked our Heavenly Father for rescuing him by sending His servant Bishop Capelli to involve him in the "Come and See program". Godfrey said,this is not by accidently but it is a really call with full of challenges but he dreamed that there is,full of hope only if he trust in the Lord.

During his time at NAC,he said he have some confident and discovered some new experiences in his life.He said,“Even though to discern my Vocation is to hard long journey of life.Looking back,I can now see how the pieces of my life fit together,and fills my heart joyfully and made it possible to overcome difficulties.By faith and Love of Christ that drew me to try his affirmation to follow him in his life of sacrifice and service”.

He continued,“ God has truly made and called us to be his faithful servant and He does not abandon us in good and bad times.Each of us is called to be a active participant in a community of the faithfully”. He also encourages everyone to create strong communities of FAITH and LOVE that encourage many to answered His invitation to Priest or religious vocation and influencing others to know and Love God.
