Caritas House opening.
Opening of the Caritas office Gizo.
“……….A house is a place of work given by God, we must accept the gift and looked after it, and we are his work people who participated and responsible for His gift to us…….” Bishops speech during opening of caritas office was witnessed by caritas and diocesan workers. Also witnessing the official opening was Ms Justine, caritas Australia. In her speech she stated that “the office came in the right time to rehabilitate those communities who striked by the 2nd April, 2008 earthquake & tsunami. She said “the tsunami brought in distraction to lives of communities and everyone worried, but caritas bringing hopes to communities”.
The office was blessed and officially opened on the 19th March by Bishop Capelli. The building was constructed by a local builder.
