The program was first introduced into Gizo Diocese by Bishop Luciano Capelli way back in 2008, it was Fr Jerome who first facilitated the trainers and trained them to become Facilitators in Noro. I was one of them, and this program really inspires me and I chose to go to NAC for pre-seminary study.
It was a great privilege for me to regain the experiences I have from the last three years. The program was held here at Sirovanga and included a feedback session, even though I was one of the facilitators. The program covered twelve sessions which really touched the many young youth who attended. I was very happy to see the youth attending the program, which helps them to change from their past life experiences. Through the evaluations they voice out their feelings since they come to realize the loving relationship they have in God. It challenges them a lot when they came across the session on the TWO BLIND MEN, AFFIRMATION, REJECTION, AND THE CIRCLE OF LOVE AND THE OVERAL MESSAGE OF THE REST OF THE SESSIONS.
THE TWELVE SESSIONS ARE: Welcome to the Family, Come and See, Cycle of Life, Please Listen, The two Blind men, Personhood in Community, Affirmation, , Rejection, Circle of love, Storms in life and Vision and Commitment.
